What is RISQS?
The Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) is the certification authority for the Great British Rail Industry. It supports both buyers and suppliers. It aids Network Rail and Transport for London (TFL) in managing supply chain risk.
A cross-industry committee owns, governs, and sponsors RISQS. It operates under the RSSB Board’s oversight. RSSB provides a range of services to support the scheme. This includes developing essential rail standards, mandatory for all in the industry.
It boosts the confidence of over 90 buyer members. They trust in doing business with a network of 4,000 supplier members. Registering with RISQS or achieving certification shows you comply with industry standards. It places you on the fast track to approved supplier lists for providing products such as palisade fencing, mesh fencing & railings to the railways.
What does this mean for CLA?
Now that CLA is RISQS verified, We have been working on putting together a product range to suit specifications that are provided by Network Rail and working to get these as a stock item. Since becoming verified, We have already produced the Network Rail spec Palisade fencing which is now available for pricing, offering a highly competitive rate on both 1.8H & 2.4H systems to suit the railways.
