CLA would like to congratulate White Hart FC Smallthorne on their recent Coors league cup win, As part of giving back to the community we become the official training sponsor for the club allowing them to get brand new training kits and trackies. The final really was a game of two halves at Newcastle Town as White Hart lifted the Division Four Cup against Chesterton AFC
White Hart started really well and took an early lead through Adam Vickers but Chesterton rallied and forced a fine save from the Smallthorne keeper Ethan Clarke, who tipped around for a corner. The Divisional leaders struck with a 2nd goal midway through the first half with a fine finish from Liam Gibson after finding space on the left-hand side of the penalty area. The decisive moment of the game came just before halftime when White Hart was again clinical in front of goal. Adam Vickers found himself clear of the defense and slipped the ball past the Chesterton keeper to make it 3-0. All three goals set up by Man of the Match Sam Leese.
