CLA Fabrications Ltd Expands In The West Midlands
Exciting news for CLA Fabrications Ltd as we expand our presence in the West Midlands! We’ve acquired two units at GWS Trading Estate in Wednesbury, investing £2 million.
With a decade of experience, CLA Fabrications is known for manufacturing top-quality metal railings, security gates, and mesh fencing systems. Our commitment to efficiency has allowed us to establish the most efficient manufacturing process in the UK. Currently, we operate from a 45,000 sq ft site spread across two units on Potters Lane. The addition of the new units on Leabrook Road will provide an additional 45,000 sq ft of space, allowing us to further expand our operations.
This expansion comes as a result of our recent rapid growth. In January 2021, we achieved record sales and saw a remarkable 49 percent increase in turnover over the past year. With numerous significant contracts signed for the coming year and an 80 percent growth forecast, it became crucial to find additional space for our expanding business.
The new site not only boosts our manufacturing capacity but also offers 1.35 acres of secure yard space. This allows us to expand our product range and improve our delivery service through the nearby motorway network, ensuring greater efficiency for our customers.
With this expansion, we are proud to announce that our team will also grow. The addition of the new units will create employment opportunities, increasing our workforce from 60 to 80 dedicated professionals.
